B_o_B Internet Radio is broadcast in streaming .mp3 format using SHOUTcast.  Broadcasting at 24kbps, 22,050kHz in Mono Cheap broadcast rate is due to cable modem limitations.  Their is no scheduled broadcasts time.  I have my winamp player (what I use to listen to music here) hooked into the Shoutcast server.  When I listen to music, Broadcasting begins.

Blue Passers
Once upon a time in the year 1990, in a High School Electronics Lab, a radio transmitter & a radio receiver were built.
One night while reflecting about this project, Fran makes a Profound statement:
"I still cant get over that time we were picking up your radio with our reciever.
Nothing that cool has happened since......
I get chills thinking about that radio......."

Fran "Da Man" Trudeau
01 March 2004
Once Upon a time in 1998 I left a message on Fran "Da Man" Trudeau's answering machine advising him that one of my hard drives died & no longer I/O's amoung the living. I did not know that Fran had recorded the message I left for historical purposes. Three years (to the day) latter, Fran e-mailed a copy of the message. That was kinda freaky, and I thought it was pretty funny. So, I made a little tribute with bag pipes in the background & e-mailed it back to Fran.

Download the Message Tribute
NOTE: You may need to "right-click" on the link and "save-as" to save the file to your computer.

The Prophecies of Nostradamus

Web View of some of my Logs

In the days prior to me knowing how to run my own webservers, I used to use a lot of free web hosting services to mess around with making web pages.  Here is a link to my website of yesteryears.  This site was made more or less for educational/experimental purposes, and never really was an attempt to be a  legit site with some kind of useful information to share with the world.   B-o-B's old website

In the days after my playing around with making web pages on free web hosting services, I put a computer togeather to run my own web-server from my home.  This was an attempt to take my skills "To the next level", as they would say.  At that time, I had just obtained my first DSL (broadband - fast) internet connection, so I decided to give it a try.  The computer that was built was  named "4dnetdrone".  The primary mission of this box (when it was first built) was to be a Proxy Server (a way to share the DSL - actually a dialup at first -  with my roommates @ that time), and was used to run my old website www.bobslair.org.  This machine originally ran NT4.0, and I used the stock IIS 4.0 services.  For just a brief amount of time, this machine was upgraded to M$ 2000 Server, and ran the stock IIS 5.0 services.
I decided to move away from California in the summer of 2002.  In the process of me moving,  this computer died from having water leak onto, then into it.  All the data in this computer was destroyed forever.
During the uptime opperation of this server, I also had several other M$ servers running (doing things for me) in the background.  Their were two times I needed to take "4dnetdrone" (dry-dock) off-line for maintanence.  Each time I did this, I moved the services/files to one of my other computers running at that time (as to not disrupt the opperations of www.bobslair.org, ftp.bobslair.org, or mail.bobslair.org).  Well, awhile ago,  I retired two of the computers that for a brief time ran bobslair.org, and at the time of retirement I saved whatever bobslair.org files I could find.  These files have been sitting around i my fileserver doing nothing (and prob never will), so I decided to restore what material I had left & put on display for historical purposes.  Here is a glimpse of what my old www.bobslair.org looked like.
